Summary

Development of an ethanol process simulator manual; supervisory mgmt training, production operation/lab

This proposal focuses on training the workforce as it relates to the biofuel industry. Outcomes of the project will fulfill industry’s employee needs by upgrading current employee skills and increasing the current pool of qualified biofuel production employees. The multifaceted skill sets that make up the training in this proposal include development of an ethanol process simulator that gives trainees a hands-on look and feel of operating an ethanol facility, delivery of supervisory management training, production operation and lab training, as well as company board of director leadership training.
