Summary

 

Increase renewable energy curriculum for high school teachers; renewable energy internships; Pre-Employment Energy Academies; tuition assistance for Renewable Energy Tech program

 

We are requesting funding for projects that will target the entire workforce pipeline for renewable energy workers in our region. The Renewable Energy Skilled Worker Pipeline project will expose out-of-school youth and adults to the opportunities in the industry, support graduated seniors with work experience within the industry, and assist with credit-based tuition for individuals wanting to pursue leadership positions within this emerging industry.
